Narragansett home absorption rate has crept up again to a home buyers market.
- Breakdown of the 11 Narragansett RI home sales in January is as follows: 2 homes sold under $300,000, 3 homes sold between $300,000-$400,000 and 6 homes sold over $400,000. In January, the over $400,000 home was the one that generated the most buying interest.

Home sales were up 10% in January, home inventory was down 2% and homes in contract were down 41%. It may be the cold weather that is dampening sales right now but spring is right around the corner. Sales were up over 40% this month over the prior year!
The Narragansett RI home sales market has been a strong selling market in the past year. It is expected to remain strong in 2013 also.
