The 52nd Wickford RI Art Festival is scheduled for July 15-16 in the waterfront village of Wickford within the town of North Kingstown. This is a heralded art event in Rhode Island and brings noted artists from around the country as well as internationally. Over 200 artists will be present this coming Saturday from 10 am- 6 pm and Sunday from 10 am- 5 pm.
From Brown Street to West Main Street the local streets will be closed to cars but public parking and shuttle buses are available just outside the Wickford village. Put your good walking shoes on and plan to spend hours oogling and buying noted artwork to add to your home.
As a truly historic RI real estate village that is recognized nationally for its historic homes and character as a seaside village that has transcended the centuries. It is a great town to shop with all the local flavor of being a coastal town.
