As far as the arts go, one of America’s most noted artist Gilbert Stuart resided here and there is a museum in his honor here that is always great to explore. North Kingstown is home to Elizabeth Beisel a 2012 Olympic medal champion (Gold and Bronze medals swimming medals). We are proud of our hometown girl for her amazing swimming efforts and the person she is in life.
