is located on Conanicut Island (which is 9 miles by 1 mile). It is linked to the East and West sides of Rhode Island by the Newport and Jamestown Rhode Island bridges and Narragansett Bay. It is the second largest island on Narragansett Bay and according to the 2010 census its population on Jamestown is about 5400 residents. Its main street is Narragansett Avenue which runs through the heart of this village. Walk down to the Jamestown coast from here or bring your bike for a wonderful pedal around the island.
It is a picturesque island that offers both year round and summer residents the tranquility they desire by living here. The town maintains its farms and historic buildings around the island.
Beavertail State Park
The town is located between the towns of North Kingstown and Newport Rhode Island real estate.
