The Narragansett RI 02882 Real Estate Market Statistics for the month of September 2010 for sold properties are as follows:
12 South Kingstown RI homes sold:
2 homes sold for over $1 million
4 homes sold for over $400,000
2 homes sold for between $300,000-$400,000
4 homes sold for less than $300,000
Overall there were approximately 206 homes on the market during September 2010 in Narragansett RI 02882 which was a 8% decrease in the number of homes over the prior month of August 2010 (a decrease of 18 homes on the market). The inventory level has decreased a bit but buyers still have an ample supply of homes to choose from and be selective about. Realize also that mortgage rates continue to remain at extremely low rates for buyers. It is a great time to buy a primary or vacation home in Narragansett RI real estate.
The number of homes sold in Narragansett increased by 4 homes over August’s sold number of homes to 12 homes sold in September. Although the news is indicating a nationwide drop in home sales, it is important to remember that real estate is local. Home sales may be slow moving in some months but right now Narragansett home sales are remaining steady. As a premier beach and ocean front community, home value remains strong.
Pending sales decreased to a total of 24 homes in agreement in September 2010 which is up from 20 homes the prior month. There is an increase in upcoming closings on homes which indicates home sales in Narragansett remain strong and steady.
