Originally an elite community for the Providence crowd….this was one of the places in South County to have a summer home along the waterfront. In fact there was a train that rolled right through the neighborhood and was 
transportation to Providence many years ago. Now being in Saunderstown in this neighborhood has become a desirable North Kingstown neighborhood to live in. The community of Plum Beach starts at the top of a hill and rolls down to the waterfront with side roads off Plum Beach Road such as: Spring Street, Wilbur Hazard Road, Lloyd Road, Tefft Street, Hillside, etc. True Rhode Island living here which bears the name of the city at the bay. Certainly the price ranges of homes are on the higher end but seek and you may find one that is a bit less to meet your budget!
