East Greenwich RI Real Estate Market Update | November 2012

 

Again we are seeing a year to date real estate market improvement in sales over 2011 in this Kent County town.  Let us look

at how homes are selling this month as well as compared to last year same time period. 

The East Greenwich market report for November 2012 indicates the following:   

Active homes on the market: 125  (11% decrease in homes for sale over the prior month)

Sold Homes: 14 homes (63% increase in sold homes over the prior month):

          14 homes sold: 5 homes sold for less than $300,000, 2 homes sold between $300,000-$400,000 and

 

                                              7  homes sold for greater than $400,000

            Average home sold for $417,282 at 96% of list price and days o

n market was 116.

            Median home sold for $382,500 at 96% of list price and days on market was 73.

 

Pending Homes:  14 homes (56% increase in homes over the prior month).

The East Greenwich RI real estate market update report is showing a large rebound here.

 

Year to date 2012 home sales are at 164 homes sold compared to 2011 with 114 homes sold = 44% home sale increase.

Home prices have declined year to date by 4% over same time period in 2011.  So prices are still attempting to stabilize here.
