It is a No Talk, All Action weekend (their words not mine) that bring newbies, entrepreneurs, leaders of business together

to incubate ideas and talents.  In 54 hours ideas are shared, teams are formed to bring ideas forward and actual business startups are launched!  This is exciting that this is happening in Rhode Island on October 5, 2012.

Place: Johnson & Wales University at Wales Hall, Providence, RI

Start: October 5th at 6:00 pm is registration

Cost: $99 but $40 for students only (IDs must show you are a student)

All Startup Weekend events follow this basic model:  All are welcome to pitch their startup idea and receive feedback from peers. Teams form around the top ideas (as determined by popular vote) and then it’s a 54 hour frenzy of business model creation, coding, designing, and market validation. The weekend ends with presentations in front of local innovative business leaders with more feedback.
