Jamestown’s home absorption rate is still struggling to get out of a Buyer’s real estate market! Over two years of home inventory exists at present.
- Jamestown’s home inventory increased by 9 homes over the prior month, days on market nearly doubled and list price to sold price decreased by half. Realize that with only 3 homes sold there is not enough data to see where the home market is really going but it is not becoming a sellers market/
- Breakdown of the 3 Jamestown RI homes sold in March is as follows: 1 home sold less than $300,000 and 2 homes sold over $400,000. In March, there was minimal interest in the Jamestown RI coastal real estate market again. However, the over $400,000 home generated the buyers interest. Pending home sales increased by 50% over February which is a promising real estate sign.
