8 homes sold for between $300,000-$400,000
15 homes sold for under $300,000
South Kingstown September 2012 home sales are down 19 % over August yet still strong.
South Kingstown’s Average Home Sale Price in September 2012 was $333,672. This month South Kingstown Rhode Island real estate homes sold on average for 94% of list price and were on the real estate market for 132 days on average. Declines in all categories from the prior month.
South Kingstown Median Home Sale Price in September 2012 was $290,000. South Kingstown homes sold for a median price point of 96% of list price and were on the real estate market for 87 days. Remember the median sale price is the midpoint of all home sale prices (half the home sales are below this amount as well as above this dollar figure). Declines in all categories from the prior month.
There were 263 South Kingstown homes for sale in September 2012 which was a 1 % decrease in homes on the market over the prior month.
South Kingstown is the South County town with the most home sales consistently this year. However, the waterfront South Kingstown homes for sale are selling slowly. No oceanfront South Kingstown homes sold in September.
